Re: Ionic EV Euro version vs Canada/US differences

Ha, ok, I guess my theory has holes in it... ya that is strange that the IONIQ comes with a cooling option in Norway. Only thing I can think is that either it isn't CSA approved, or they figure not enough people in Canada want it to make it an option.

Re: Ionic EV Euro version vs Canada/US differences

Looks to me like cooled seats aren't an option, but heated seats are:

Maybe it's the whole "Canada is all icy-cold already" stereotype?

Re: IONIQ Electric Range Results collected

Thanks for collecting the data! I've started a comparison chart of IONIQ Electric range achieved.

It's on the EV wiki

Re: life time battery warranty

Here's a useful comparison chart of the different EV battery warranties (created in Dec 2016 by Gary Exner, linked from GreenCarReports.com) Since it was created in 2016, it doesn't have the IONIQ on it http://images.hgmsites.net/lrg/battery-warranties-for-12-battery-electric-cars-sold-in-the-u-s-de...

Re: Can we separate the IONIQ forum into EV and Hybrid sections?

I agree that most of the vehicle is the same. It might make sense to separate out the 'tech' section? Mind you, also the battery section? Maybe it makes sense to wait a while and see if the forum is mostly pure EV owners (which I imagine it will be since it's closely linked to other EV forums)

Re: Tired of useless posts by 'bots and Hyundai shills?

Thanks for flagging the spam!

I've increased the registration requirements so I hope that helps limit how many make it through.

Please let me know if any more crop up!

Re: need some help

Perhaps Erik is interested in the IONIQ but also has a question about his current vehicle (a Ford Ranger? ) :)
