Re: Hyundai Ioniq vs Toyota Prius

You sound a lot like Pedro! When people think of Toyota Prius, they think about hybrids, while to me it’s just a very efficient ICE car. The same thing comes to mind when I think about the Hyundai IONIQ electric, it’s just a very efficient electric car. It’s the Toyota Prius of EVs. Both cars are ve...

That should be where someone starts in their comparison! 1) Availability - can you buy it where you live, or at l...

Re: Hyundai IONIQ VS Bolt EV

Aside from personal preference, if anyone is seriously considering the Bolt EV or the IONIQ Electric, then they will look at things like: 1) Cost for range. Obviously the Bolt has a 238 mile range, and the IONIQ is around 110, so if they cost the same then the IONIQ will not do very well 2) Heating ...

Re: Anyone ordered/pre-ordered/anything?

As posted by Jim in another topic on this forum: I enquired about the Ionic Electric on the HyundaiUSA website and got this as part of their reply: ... "We regret to inform you that the Ioniq Electric was due to be released this Spring to Southern California residents only. This decisions is du...

VR Ioniq goes to Geneva Motor Show

I know this isn't really related to getting an IONIQ EV into your hands, but it is part of the whole autonomous driving that is suddenly at the top of every automaker's "todo" list. Hyundai had this VR simulator to see what it would be like driving in a driverless car. http://insideevs.com...
