Re: Any Dealers in SoCal with the lease deal?

I am pretty sure that you can ask for info on the hyundaiusa web site, and they'll get back to you. (You tell them what you are interested in "hyundai Ioniq electric, subscription", for example.) What was called "hyundai Ioniq EV" in the U.S. before is now called "hyundai Io...

IONIQ plug-in "rolled out" in the U.S.

( "rolled out" apparently means "shown to the press", because there is no pricing or availability information yet - in the U.S..) http://autoweek.com/article/car-reviews/2018-hyundai-ioniq-plug-hybrid-first-drive-plenty-market-share "The Ioniq PHEV has a pure electric range ...

2017 LA Auto show (and California EV infrastructure)

Here's a link to the article : http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory/suvs-main-attraction-la-auto-show-51470734 This paragraph caught my interest (I was surprised by the numbers) : " California buyers purchase a higher percentage of hybrids and electrics than the U.S. as a whole thanks to st...

Re: Stop charging before it's finished

If my car is charging can I stop it before it is finished. If so how? If it isn't fast-charging (DCFC), then you just push down the button on the top of the handle - that should automatically stop the charge. At any rate, the standard was set up such that the first pins to disconnect are the status...

Hyundai is releasing info about the 2018 Ioniq. The plug-in is discussed, and there are rumors of an increased-range EV.

BTW, my sister bought a hybrid Ioniq last week. She *loves* it!

Re: Volvo to ditch combustion engines

I do. Does Volvo? I think the real question is "did the person who wrote the article understand it"? I have gotten ever so more dissatisfied with the poor quality of news articles. "to sound the death knell of the internal combustion engine" sounds exactly like hyperbole that a ...

Re: Warranty details

Hi all, Just wanted to let you know, my dealer (for lease ioniq ev) has confirmed me that it has an 8 year, <70% battery warranty. I asked him to put this in writing so he put it in the offer (obviously at 0 cost). Best regards, Bart Do you live in So. California? (I had heard that is the only plac...
