The range is great! It is frustrating when these models take so long to appear!

I guess the Prius is the target to beat for manufacturers. The Ioniq is a strong contender for the title!

Most of these chargers are level 2 so it still takes 8-10 hours to charge. I like the sound of level 3 that can recharge your battery in 30 minutes. Is it possible to install level 3 in your garage? Has anyone done it?

Hope to see them soon - the waiting is a bit agonizing! The marina blue is a very striking colour.

I didn't think the review was that bad. They did call it a decent car with relatively quick acceleration and an excellent city car. I'm not sure how many people would buy an all electric vehicle for highway driving.

I agree... I think that low cost reliable transportation will encourage new buyers. Even with a 238 range, these cars are more likely to be used for local driving, so a reduced range isn't a major impediment. But price will always be a deciding factor.

Those are pretty impressive sales figures... the European markets seem more open to the change than the North American markets.

That's a really interesting perspective. I wonder how the emissions compare in terms of a tank of gas and coal-generated electricity to travel the same distance. There's a picture on that site of an EV under a carport made of solar panels. Maybe that's the way to go... plug your car into its chargin...
