Ioniq is Greenest Vehicle

The Ioniq won the award for being the Greenest Vehicle from The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE). Not only that but the Ioniq earned the best score in the history of the list. Pretty good accomplishment when it also has a low price! http://insideevs.com/hyundai-ioniq-electric...

Comparative charging costs

Interesting info in the Car and Driver review - "The EPA figures that the Ioniq Electric will need $0.81 of juice to cover 25 miles compared with $0.92 for the Bolt and $0.97 for a Nissan Leaf. " http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2017-hyundai-ioniq-electric-first-drive-review

Re: Anyone actually considering the subscription for the EV?

This may partially answer your question. On cnet.com they say the program " includes all maintenance and reimbursement for charging costs for 36 months and up to 50,000 miles". https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/auto/2017-hyundai-ioniq/preview/ Not sure how they handle the reimbursement though...

Availability of Ioniq models

According to cnet.com the hybrid is appearing in dealerships now, while the plug-in hybrid won’t be available until the last few months of 2017. The electric model will be available in April 2017 but only in California at this point. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/auto/2017-hyundai-ioniq/preview/

2017 Ioniq

There was a great review of the 2017 Ioniq in the Globe and Mail. Very informative! It will be available as a hybrid, plug-in hybrid or pure electric, with pricing that is “highly provocative”. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-drive/reviews/new-cars/review-2017-hyundai-ioniq-is-a-normal-compact-...
