Maintaining your EV yourself

Look in the manual - it should be available on-line. Most EVs have very little regular maintenance, besides consumables (tires, windshield wipers, etc). Depending on how (if) the battery temperature is regulated, you might need to drain/replace the battery 'thermal management system' coolant every 30K-45K kms. But no oil change, lubricating, spark plugs, engine air filter, etc.

I hadn't thought about the reduced maintenance... that's another real plus! But I would think that any maintenance that is required is probably best left to trained technicians - as with most new cars, there would be a lot of electronic parts.
