Does the Ioniq ensure you don't over charge your battery?

Thu Apr 13, 2017 8:54 pm

I know that there is a sweet spot for electric car or hybrid batteries. It is good to maintain the battery between 20- 80%. With the Ioniq is there something in place to keep you from over charging your battery to ensure longevity or is this a possible problem for some?

Haven't seen anything that refers to this so have to assume it's not an issue...

It will not let you over charge your battery in the same way a gas engine car tells you the gas is empty but that is not the case there is a little more to get to a gas station. I don't know if you left your car plugged in for days at a time what this may do but for the over night charge from empty battery you are ok
