Hyundai Ioniq Plug-in 2017 review

Fri May 12, 2017 4:04 pm

Noticed this review today and I thought a nice thing to share in the Hyundai Ioniq forum.
The Hyundai Ioniq, new to showrooms only last year, has been rightly proclaimed unique among environmentally friendly family hatchbacks because it’s the only car on the market available as either a normal hybrid, a plug-in-hybrid, or a full battery-only electric option.

Unfortunately, one third of the climate-champion boyband has been absent from the stage so far: the Plug-in hybrid version which would have lead its field on claimed fuel economy and emissions if Hyundai had got it on sale before Toyota’s Prius Plug-in. Instead, it’s been delayed by battery supply hold-ups, with Hyundai now aiming for UK cars to be in showrooms this autumn.

So again the true eco friendliness of the EV comes into play even by the EV giant Tesla. I'm very happy the whole pictures is getting looked into. To decipher if in fact an EV is more green than a combustion engine is the question many of us want answered definitively. A must read...at least things are getting started in that direction to look into.
