Hyundai IONIQ Electric Specs
The Ioniq Electric has a 28 kWh lithium-polymer battery pack that gives the EV a city range of 135 miles, a highway range of 110 miles, and an overall EPA rated combined EV range of 124 miles.
Overall efficiency is rated at 136 MPGe, which is currently the highest efficiency rating of any vehicle for sale in North America! The next highest is the Toyota Prius Prime, rated at 133 MPGe.
Charging the battery pack takes about 4 hours on a level 2 fast charger, and if using the DC fast charging option, you can get an 80% percent charge in around 33 minutes at 50 kW, or 24 minutes at 100 kW (assuming you can find a CCS/J1772 combo charger that puts out 100 kW!).
The electric motor is rated at 88 kW, with 295 Nm of torque, and accelerates the IONIQ EV from 0-62 mph in sport mode in 9.9 seconds, and in normal mode it takes only 10.2 seconds.
The IONIQ Electric weighs 1,880 kg.
